* POSITION OVERVIEW:

** The
** Specialty Pharmacy Technician
** is responsible for actively and successfully navigating patient prescriptions, which may include, but not be limited to submitting prior authorizations, supporting providers by assisting with benefits investigation, submitting appeals, exploring patient medication assistance options, coordinating fulfillment of orders with dispensing pharmacy, and identifying/resolving barriers on behalf of the interdisciplinary care teams. This position does not directly manage other caregivers.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgement, strong verbal, and written communication, proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word; able to quickly learn other software programs and able to extract relevant information; strong organizational/administrative skills.

* PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

** Occasionally (25%):
