Prestige Senior Living invites you to apply for the Care Partner role.
Position SummaryThe Care Partner provides direct resident care, completes assignments as a universal worker, and assists in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for residents. The role includes delegated tasks and medication management, supporting resident well‑being and building operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provides direct resident care while promoting resident dignity, independence, and personal choice. Regularly observes residents’ physical and mental conditions and reports changes to health services leadership or Executive Director.
- Provides care and services as directed by the resident’s cooperative service plan.
- Coordinates personal care services with co‑workers, assisting with lifting and responding to assistance pages promptly.
- Reports and documents all changes of condition, incidents, and accidents per policy. Completes required notifications and incident report forms.
- Performs First Aid and initiates emergency response procedures as required.
- Greets residents, visitors, and staff courteously and answers phones when assigned.
- Follows and supports community fire safety and infection control practices and promptly reports any unsafe conditions or equipment to immediate supervisor or Executive Director.
- Serves meals in the dining room, including meal set up, service, assisting residents at mealtime, providing resident tray delivery, and assisting with dining room and kitchen clean up and maintenance.
- Assists residents with keeping their apartments clean and communicates observed problems appropriately.
- Partners with community team to clean all common areas of the building.
- Assists with laundry service for residents and building laundry.
- Follows the daily schedule and the planned activity program schedule. Supports and encourages residents to participate as appropriate for their abilities and assists residents to and from activities.
- Administers resident medications and treatments according to scheduled times, following the medication administration policies as assigned and delegated.
- Assists with tours, move‑ins, move‑outs, and transfers.
- Assists with apartment housekeeping services and resident’s laundry.
- Attends and participates in training, in‑services, and staff meetings. Completed all required training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Supports a dignified and caring atmosphere with residents, their families, visitors, and staff.
- Protects privacy and confidentiality of information pertaining to residents, team members, and company records.
- Maintains a safe and secure working environment and practices safe working habits.
- Must hold state‑required certification, complete state‑required delegation and/or training requirements, and successfully complete the ADL competency demonstration.
- Must have word‑processing skills.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Food Handlers permit if required by State.
- High school diploma or GED with one or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred, or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience.
