OSU Cascades in Bend, Oregon invites applications for one or more fixed‑term, non‑tenure‑track full/part‑time Instructor positions to teach on a term‑by‑term basis for the  academic year. Positions may be reviewed for renewal or transition to a permanent instructional role at the discretion of the Senior Associate Dean.

Applications will be considered throughout the 2025‑2026 academic year as opportunities become available. All positions are located in Bend, Oregon.

The instructor(s) will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Education (Elementary and Secondary). The incumbent(s) are expected to foster critical thinking, advance students’ knowledge, and provide an intellectual foundation in the discipline. Courses will serve students in degree programs.

Administrate and teach course(s) term‑by‑term in one or more of the following disciplines:

• Education (Elementary and Secondary), English as a Second Language, Language Arts and Reading Education, Science and Mathematics Education, Social Studies Education, Special Education.
• Complete course assessment processes and continuously improve teaching effectiveness.

Participate in advising and mentoring students: advise students, provide office hours, maintain records, and perform minor administrative tasks.

Required:

Master’s degree in Education (Elementary or Secondary) or a related field, with a strong commitment to undergraduate education and equity.

Preferred:
Ph.D. or terminal degree, teaching experience at the college or university level.
