Reporting to the Business Manager in the Real Estate, Facilities and Housing Department, this position provides internal customer service and administrative support to the Department. This Senior Administrative Support Specialist role performs a variety of functions that support department operations including coordination of the Core Area Advisory Board and the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee. The role requires a strong understanding of specialized programs and the ability to navigate and support a variety of departmental functions with accuracy and efficiency.

* Committee and advisory board meeting coordination
* Create and receive requisitions and purchase orders
* Process Contract entry and contract change orders
* Procurement card reconciliation
* Supply ordering
* Maintain billing spreadsheet(s)
* Customer Service
* Perform general administrative tasks
We're looking for someone who is a self-starter and works well both independently and as part of a team to provide essential support to our medium sized department which includes varied roles and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and have experience providing high-level administrative support including coordinating and supporting board meetings. Highly qualified candidates will have skill in reconciling procurement cards, creating and receiving requisitions, and Office
365 applications including Excel.
Experience with data entry and digital file storage will be valuable along with a working knowledge of customer service principles and administrative practices. The ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and members of the public is necessary in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED)
* 4 to 5 years' experience in a similar position and/or performing similar tasks.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
* Current and valid Driver's license per City policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
