OverviewLHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Assistant Community Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a residential community. This role provides critical administrative, resident-relations, and operational support to ensure a well-run, welcoming community environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable engaging with residents, vendors, and internal property management teams.
Responsibilities- Assist with daily community operations, ensuring a positive resident experience
- Support leasing functions including tours, application processing, and move-in paperwork
- Serve as a primary point of contact for resident inquiries, requests, and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate records, resident files, and compliance documentation
- Process rent payments, track delinquencies, and support basic accounting tasks
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Support community events, engagement initiatives, and communication efforts
- Assist with vendor coordination, property inspections, and reporting needs
- Ensure the office environment is professional, welcoming, and aligned with company standards
- Provide administrative support to Community Manager and property team as needed
- Previous experience in property management is highly preferred, or similar such as leasing, hospitality, customer service, or administrative roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment
- Proficient with basic computer applications; property management software experience a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent; furthering education is a plus
