Accounting Manager

A well-established Central Oregon general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Accounting Manager to support project financials, payroll administration, and compliance reporting.

This hands‑on role is responsible for billing, job cost tracking, payroll processing, certified payroll reporting, and payroll tax compliance.

• Manage progress billing, retention, and change orders
• Track and reconcile job costs
• Process weekly payroll
• Prepare certified payroll reports for prevailing wage projects
• Maintain vendor compliance documentation (COIs, W-9s, lien waivers)
• Ensure timely payroll tax filings, workers’ comp reporting, and W-2 processing

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of construction accounting experience
• Experience managing in‑house payroll, certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance experience a plus
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Demonstrated success in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience working in accounting and payroll software systems and the ability to learn new tools quickly
• Proficient in MS Excel
