Overview

Working at Target means helping guests discover the joy of everyday life by delivering a guest-first experience. This role supports General Merchandise (GM) areas and inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes, including digital fulfillment tasks such as picking, packing, and delivering pickup orders to guests. The GM and Food team focuses on inventory accuracy, merchandising, pricing, and store processes to enable a consistent guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs while completing daily tasks.
• Assist guests and solve their specific needs; thank guests for shopping at Target.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, set up merchandise, and place promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment where certified to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Execute processes such as price changes, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to resolve guest issues.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services including back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

Physical and scheduling requirements

• Ability to handle cash operations as needed.
• Capability to climb ladders and lift/move merchandise up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance.
• Comfort working in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
