Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Know and discuss Target Loyalty program benefits and assist with enrollment as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain how to use Target App features, including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; assist guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Handle returns following store policies and solicit leadership support as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage stocking during store hours
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up, and related duties in compliance with laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and reliable attendance
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance
• Maintain mobility during shifts and work in varying temperatures and conditions as required by role (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout)
