American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel assignment in Bemidji, MN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active MN RN license.
Details- Level III Trauma Emergency Department in an acute care hospital setting
- 15-bed ED with 4 fast track rooms and 1 triage area
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:4
- 12-hour night shifts with every 3rd weekend required
- Rotating day, evening, and night shifts possible
- Floating to Medical/Surgical unit as needed
- No on-call requirement
- EMR:
Epic (training provided during orientation);
Accudose also used on unit - 13-week contract
- Active MN RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC — all must be active, no pending certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
- Experience in an ED with annual visit volume of 28,000 or higher preferred
- Trauma Level III or higher experience preferred
- BSN not required
- 2 professional references required: 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the same specialty within the last 3 years
- Implements the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, care planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation
- Never works alone — team-based environment with no call responsibilities
- Scrub color:
Navy Blue - Candidates who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must disclose it; prior Sanford Health employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their application date
- Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be subject to a local bill rate adjustment
- An interview with the unit manager is required prior to an offer being extended
- 8-hour orientation provided
