Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU travel assignment requiring a minimum of 3 years of ICU experience, an active MN RN license, and AHA-certified ACLS and BLS.

Details

• Acute care ICU setting with 14 beds

• Primary patient ratio of 1:2-3 in the ICU

• Responds to code blue calls and manages arterial lines, ventilators, BiPAP, and cardiac monitoring

• Charting performed in Epic;
Pyxis used for medication management

• 12-hour night shifts, primarily nights with some day shifts

• Every 3rd weekend required

• Floating required to Telemetry (1:3-5 ratio) and ER (1:3-5 ratio)

• Trauma Level 3 facility

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required

• Current AHA-certified BLS and ACLS required (no pending certifications accepted)

• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience required

• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred; other EMR experience will be considered

• BSN not required

Additional Information

• Orientation is 12–24 hours per unit and will be adjusted as needed

• Two professional references required: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one from a peer or supervisor in the same specialty within the last 3 years

• Navy blue scrubs required

• Candidates must badge in and out at the facility

• Candidates who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their application date

• Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a reduced pay rate
