Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Rad Tech for a Cath Lab position requiring strong skills in heart cath procedures and ARRT certification.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based cath lab within an acute care setting designated as Trauma Level 3
- Unit consists of 3 cath labs focusing on cardiac, EP, and vascular cases
- Perform heart catheterizations, peripheral procedures, pacemaker insertions, and ablations
- Utilize specialized equipment including Philips FD20 and Azurion B20, Epic charting, Mac Lab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, Impellas, and Carto system
- Day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with call 1-2 nights per week and every 4th weekend; late team coverage required as needed for extended procedures
- Epic is used for electronic medical records and experience is preferred
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations and produce quality diagnostic images for clinical purposes
- Monitor patient vitals and accurately chart throughout procedures
- All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- Ceil blue scrubs are provided
- Candidates with previous employment at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
- Local candidates within 80 miles are accepted with an adjusted pay rate
- Active ARRT certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
- 2-5 years of experience as a Rad Tech in a cardiac cath lab, with EP and vascular experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience with heart cath procedures, peripherals, pacemakers, and ablations
- Willingness to complete the MN Net Study within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
- Physical ability to operate imaging equipment and assist with interventional procedures
- License required if applicable
