Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab experience and ARRT and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in a Level 3 trauma acute care setting with 3 cardiac catheterization labs
- Patient population includes those requiring vascular, coronary, device implants, and electrophysiology procedures
- Procedures performed include peripherals, pacemakers, ablations, and monitoring of vitals
- Shift is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 1 night of call per week and every 4th weekend; late team required 1-2 times per week as needed
- Equipment includes Epic EMR, Mac Lab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temp pacemakers, Impellas, and Carto
- Epic experience is highly preferred
- Assist physicians with heart catheterization, peripheral interventions, device implantation, and ablation procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and perform accurate charting
- Must badge in and out of the facility for each shift
- Ceil blue scrubs provided
- Travelers who previously worked with Sanford Health must have a 6-month gap before consideration
- Local candidates within 80 miles are accepted; pay adjustment applies
- Unit-specific training and orientation discussed during interview
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a cardiac catheterization lab
- ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications required
- Sterile technique proficiency required
- Experience with peripherals, pacemakers, ablations, vascular, coronary, and device implant procedures required
- Willingness to apply for the MN Net Study within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
- RCIS or RCES certification preferred
- Epic EMR experience highly preferred
- License required if applicable
