Overview

Join Sevita’s community-based care team as a Caregiver for our Behavioral Group Home. As part of REM Community Services, a division of Sevita, you’ll help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve a higher quality of life while fostering meaningful relationships. The role is full‑time and pays $18.35 per hour, with a full benefits package including 401(k) and paid time off.

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and support to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Encourage participants to engage in community activities and their favorite pursuits.
• Support developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build trusting relationships and demonstrate ownership of participant well‑being.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to create supportive care plans.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and responsible personality traits.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
