Who You Are

Grow student enrollment in CIEE’s high school summer abroad programs with effective sales outreach and a goal‑driven mindset. Own the applicant journey from initial interest to confirmed participation, guiding students and building trust with families. Passion for relationship building and working with teens, converting inquiries into study abroad experiences.

What You’ll Do
  • Convey value and tangible outcomes of study abroad to students and guardians.
  • Follow a structured sales outreach process via phone, text, and email.
  • Manage high daily call volume (20‑60 calls per day).
  • Motivate and coach participants and families through scholarships, applications, and barriers.
  • Provide customer service throughout the application, acceptance, confirmation, and pre‑departure prep.
  • Host virtual webinars for students and parents.
  • Present to students and parents in person at high schools and fairs; domestic travel required.
  • Review applications, accept applicants, and convert them to paid participants.
  • Ensure accurate financial accounts and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Use Salesforce reports to manage pipeline and reach sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
  • Provide on‑program participant support year‑round.
  • Participate in sales training and develop professional skills.
  • Flexibility to work evening hours and provide emergency support during travel weekends.
  • Opportunity to earn international travel to chaperone student group flights.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of customer service or sales experience.
  • Ability to navigate challenging conversations.
  • International travel or study abroad experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with diverse high school students is a plus.
  • Additional language skills beyond English are a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication tailored to different audiences.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
Location Requirements

The position is open to candidates located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Utah.
