, you’ll oversee day-to-day accounting operations while partnering directly with ownership to provide meaningful financial insights that drive business decisions. The position combines hands-on accounting with strategic financial leadership in a stable, team-oriented environment that values accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and monthly close.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis of results.
- Develop and document internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures.
- Manage cash flow and oversee the company’s inflows and outflows to ensure sound financial practices.
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain cost accounting systems and partner with operations to analyze profitability and performance.
- Oversee compliance with all payroll, tax, and government reporting requirements.
- Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Coordinate and support external financial audits.
- Provide financial modeling and forecasting to support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA designation preferred.
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or light industrial environments strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team‑building skills.
