B1 Licensed Engineer

The B1 Licensed Engineer/Team Lead will support the Management Team by ensuring maintenance activities meet required standards in accordance with company procedures, regulatory airworthiness, design, and quality requirements. This role involves meeting the agreed company/customer requirements and programme plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision of up to 6 Technicians and 2 Apprentices
Certify modification and maintenance work within company authorisation
Carry out aircraft maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical systems and structures according to approved data
Embodiment of aircraft mechanical modifications in accordance with approved data
Fault finding of defects and rectifying them as per the Aircraft Maintenance Manual and other approved data

Job Requirements:

CAA Part-66 B1 or B2 License
CAA Part-147 BN2T or BN2B type course (desirable, but not essential)
Aircraft engineering apprenticeship or equivalent
Experience working in a similar role on light utility, unpressurised aircraft
Fault identification, isolation, and rectification capabilities
Base Maintenance experience, preferably with modification or structural repair experience
Experience working on light turbo-prop fixed-wing aircraft
