Experienced Carpenter – Historic Restoration Projects

Renaissance Historic Exteriors is an award-winning leader in historic preservation and restoration. We are expanding our team and seeking Experienced Carpenters who take pride in quality craftsmanship and have a passion for working on historically significant structures.

Our projects include historic homes, churches, universities, government buildings, and landmark properties across the Midwest. If you want a career where your work truly stands the test of time, this is the place for you.

• Perform structural and finish carpentry on historic buildings.
• Execute traditional woodworking, timber framing, and custom repairs.
• Restore or replicate historic components with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Read and interpret project plans, drawings, and scopes of work.
• Work independently and as part of a highly skilled restoration crew.
• Travel to job sites throughout the Midwest (travel required).

• Proven carpentry experience in restoration, remodeling, framing, or historic work.
• Knowledge of traditional woodworking methods (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel as project sites vary.

• Competitive pay
  : $25.00–$35.00 per hour (based on experience).
