Header Operator 2nd Shift

Overview

Ability to set up and operate a variety of multi-die headers with little to no supervision. Must be able to read blueprints, inspect parts using a variety of quality tools and gauges, and troubleshoot as needed to run quality parts to meet customer demand.
THIS IS A 2nd SHIFT POSITION 3pm-11pm.

Header Operator 2nd Shift

• Operate equipment and perform complex machine set up as required.
• Set up, adjust, and operate equipment as trained in a safe manner.
• Determine tooling adjustments needed to maintain proper set-ups on multiple header sizes and types.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Properly use gauges and other quality tools to ensure production of good parts.
• Perform first piece inspections, monitor the quality of all parts, and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance, complete all required tracking documents.
• Record data for SPC and ISO/IATF 16949 documentation.

• 2–5 years’ experience running Headers;
  Formax Header a plus.
• High School Diploma or Ged (HSD/GED) or equivalent experience.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to perform basic math.
