Location:

Northern Illinois | On-site

Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 (salary, based on experience)

A leading food manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team in a highly automated, fast-paced production environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join an employer known for stability, investment in automation, and long-term career growth. As an added bonus, you will only work half the year with a 2-2-3 schedule! We are actively scheduling interviews for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support maintenance technicians on assigned shift

Drive equipment uptime, reliability, and production throughput

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment

Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs

Enforce OSHA and food safety standards

Coordinate maintenance activities with production leadership

Support continuous improvement, equipment upgrades, and process enhancements

Assist with training, scheduling, performance management, and daily crewing

Qualifications:

5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food preferred)

5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting background

Experience with PM systems, CMMS, and plant reliability programs

Knowledge of food safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Strong communication and team-leadership skills
