the Role
The Bowers Group, a Legence company, is seeking a detail‑oriented and self‑motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This is an in‑field position based in the DMV area that will help drive the delivery of data center construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Project Manager in all aspects of the project.
- Communicate and coordinate with the general contractor.
- Write purchase orders for material and equipment as required.
- Manage RFI process.
- Manage submittal process and log.
- Attend client project meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods of time and traverse different types of terrain and elevations.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from different levels.
- Data center project experience.
- This is an in‑field position based in the DMV area.
