Laboratory Assistant

Working directly under the supervision of the Histology Supervisor, the
** Laboratory Assistant
** is responsible for assisting the Histotechnologists, Cytotechnologists, and Pathologists by performing routine tasks in the laboratory, such as receiving, accessioning, and processing the pathologic specimens arriving at our pathology laboratory. Perform other laboratory and office duties as assigned by the manager.

* Qualifications:

** Minimum of one-year relevant experience as a Laboratory Assistant with Clinical lab/histology experience desired.
** Knowledge, Competencies &

Skills:

** Ability to multi-task, self-motivation, reliability, and accountability in meeting timelines.

Excellent computer software and data analysis skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong customer service/relations skills.

Must have the ability & willingness to travel to other sites as necessary within a geographic region.
