New Graduate RN Nurse Sponsorship via OPT – Research Medical Center
Join our team as a New Graduate Registered Nurse under the sponsorship program through OPT. We focus on supporting international students with EB3 Visa sponsorship when they meet our eligibility criteria.
Eligibility & Sponsorship- Recent graduates from ADN or BSN nursing programs (August 2025 or December 2025 cohorts).
- Must be located in the United States and possess an active OPT upon graduation.
- Must be willing to start immediately around the OPT active date.
- Willingness to continue education through the Day One CPT program (hybrid online, options in Kansas City for MSNs).
- International students must have a valid sponsorship qualification; non‑US residents who did not graduate recently do not qualify.
- Recruiters will schedule an initial interview to discuss interests and hospital preferences.
- Positions available in specific departments with opportunities for advancement after 1 year.
HCA Hospitals in Kansas City:
Belton Regional Medical Center, Centerpoint Medical Center, Lee’s Summit Medical Center, Menorah Medical Center, Research Medical Center, and Research Psychiatric Center. Sponsorship is limited to certain units.
- Sign‑on bonus: $10,000–$30,000 (hospital and unit specific).
- Full‑time night shift (Medical‑Surgical, Telemetry, Cardiac & Progressive Care) only on eligible units.
- Relocation bonus: $5,000 for candidates living more than 50 miles away.
The HCA Nurse Residency Program is a year‑long, paid training program. Residents receive:
- Hands‑on clinical training in a specialty area.
- Monthly educational sessions.
- Preceptorship with a facility preceptor.
- Simulation‑based skill evaluation.
- Mentorship from nurse leaders.
- Evidence‑based practice projects.
- Assess patient condition during admission and at scheduled intervals, documenting changes.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, and other tasks ordered by providers.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and report unexpected reactions.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, treatments, medications, and follow‑up plans.
- BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
- ACLS certification within 1 year of employment.
- Additional certifications as required.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse license or state graduate nurse credential.
- No prior experience required.
- Travel may be required for training.
- Medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, behavioral health, and telemedicine coverage.
