Mason - Commercial Construction

Location:

Beloit, WI

The Staff Pad has partnered with Corporate Contractors, Inc in Beloit, WI,to find an experienced Mason to join their team. Under the direction of the onsite Foreman, this role is responsible for laying brick, block, and stone, as well as constructing and repairing masonry surfaces in line with company standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lay brick, block, and stone according to project plans and Foreman direction
  • Ensure masonry structures are level, aligned, and properly finished
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites and equipment
  • Complete daily timecards and participate in required safety trainings
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Promote and follow all company and OSHA safety procedures
  • Work effectively within a team to meet production goals
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 4 years of masonry or commercial construction experience
  • Completion of an Apprenticeship Program preferred
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance per company standards
  • Must obtain OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid, Forklift, and Aerial certifications within the first year
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of construction safety and building codes
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight for job assignments
Apprenticeship Requirements (if applicable):
  • Maintain daily work logs and academic progress in accordance with state and company guidelines
  • Attend all required coursework and cover associated costs
  • Record and submit related work hours accurately and on time
