This Per Diem Youth Apprenticeship - Certified Nursing Assistant is a Per Diem at Beloit Health System located in Beloit, WI. The Youth Apprentice will be involved in day‑to‑day tasks to support healthcare professionals, gain hands‑on experience, and contribute to the overall patient care experience.

This Youth Apprenticeship - Certified Nursing Assistant will apply infection prevention controls, standard precautions and wear appropriate personal protective equipment assisting providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or physician, assist the patients with activities of daily living, provide for personal care, provide emotional support and perform clinical skills under the direction of an RN.

• Must be a current High School Student, 16 years of age or older
• Current WI CNA
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a healthcare environment
• Basic understanding of medical terminology helpful
