Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Permanent Design Engineering Manager to join our thriving manufacturing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to oversee and manage all aspects of our design engineering department. From conceptualization to implementation, you will be at the forefront of our operations, bringing your expertise in ERP, Weld, and Large Assembly to create and maintain effective systems that support our production processes.
Responsibilities
Overseeing the design and development of our manufacturing systems, ensuring they meet the highest quality and safety standards.Managing and leading a team of design engineers, fostering an environment of creativity, innovation, and continual improvement.Utilizing your expertise in ERP systems to streamline our manufacturing operations, improving efficiency and productivity.Applying your knowledge of Weld and Large Assembly techniques to develop and implement effective manufacturing processes.Collaborating with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure a seamless manufacturing process from design to delivery.Continually monitoring and evaluating our manufacturing systems, making necessary improvements and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.Training and mentoring staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional development within the department.Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.A minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering within the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of success.Extensive knowledge and experience with ERP systems, Weld techniques, and Large Assembly processes.Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of stakeholders.A commitment to continual learning and professional development.A strong understanding of industry standards and regulations, ensuring all designs and processes comply with these.Proficiency in using design software and other relevant computer applications.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.If you are a forward-thinking leader with a passion for design engineering and a desire to make a significant impact in the manufacturing industry, we would love to hear from you.
