Sr. Accountant

Description

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Accountant to join a growing team in Beloit. This opportunity offers the ability to leverage your expertise in accounting while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment. This is a hybrid position in Beloit offering 1 day a week remote!

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform month-end reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance

+ Enter and manage leases for the assigned region with precision and attention to detail

+ Ensure timely updates and accuracy of recoveries for new leases and amendments

+ Produce accurate and timely property financial statements

+ Provide analytical support and necessary due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions in assigned regions

+ Prepare and maintain property cash flow statements for proper financial planning

+ Assist with accounts receivable reconciliation and entry as needed

+ Compile and review financial packages as part of monthly reporting processes

+ Contribute to year-end audit requests and ensure compliance with auditing standards

Requirements

Qualifications:

+

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.

+ Experience/Training:
Strong knowledge of real estate accounting is preferred and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) experience is required

+ Technology

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Yardi or similar property management software is highly preferred
