Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Overview

We are looking for the best Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNs) to provide exceptional care to our residents. Come join our amazing team of healthcare professionals!

• As an LPN, provide exceptional nursing care in accordance with our policies and procedures. You will have training, support, tools & equipment to provide high-quality care. Our team includes a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing and Administrator who will be by your side every day.
• Enhance the clinical care and quality of life of our residents and ensure that all resident rights are protected.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Check residents daily to ensure prescribed treatment is properly administered and to evaluate their physical and emotional status.
• Keep the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff and related matters.
• Implement changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or the Director of Nurses.
• Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, taking blood, sputum, and urine specimens, etc., as established by the facility’s policies and procedures.
• Complete required LPN record-keeping forms/charts at admission, discharge, transfer, etc., and file in the resident’s chart or forward to the appropriate department.
• Give and receive nursing reports at shift changes.
• Investigate complaints and grievances and make necessary oral/written reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
• Present in a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior and speech.
• Adhere to our policies and standards.
