Position Summary
If you are looking for a job where you can have fun, we have the perfect position for you. We are recruiting an energetic and organized Activities Coordinator to join our Resident Care Center team. The Activity Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing engaging social, recreational, and therapeutic activities (games, crafts, parties, artistic performances, speakers, outings). This program is designed to meet the physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual needs of residents in a long-term care setting.
The role focuses on preventing isolation and enhancing quality of life by tailoring programs to individual and group interests and needs. The role will act in accordance with current existing federal, state and local standards, as well as established policies and procedures. Activities and resident needs during activities will be supported by the RCC team and volunteers.

Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Activity Coordinator certification as directed by Kansas regulations (must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment)
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Kansas
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Must be a minimum of 19 years of age and of good moral character
- Must be able to speak and write fluently in English
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Strong skills in planning, organizing, communicating, and interacting with others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
