The Quality Manager will oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities within the organization. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with industry standards, leading audits, developing quality processes, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and experienced in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities Quality Systems & Compliance
  • Develop, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 or other applicable standards.
  • Lead internal, customer, and third‑party audits.
  • Maintain quality documentation, procedures, and records.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and industry requirements.
Quality Assurance & Control
  • Oversee incoming, in‑process, and final inspection activities.
  • Establish and track quality KPIs, metrics, and reporting dashboards.
  • Manage non‑conformance investigations, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
  • Oversee calibration programs for inspection and measurement equipment.
  • Support first‑article inspections and customer qualification processes.
  • Lead and mentor quality inspectors and technicians.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns and supplier quality performance.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives and standardization of work processes.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.
  • Proficiency with measurement tools, GD&T, and inspection methodologies.
  • Experience leading audits and managing corrective action processes.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Preferred
  • Experience in precision machining, fabrication, or engineered components.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and digital quality tools.
