Belmont Abbey College, a Division II institution and member of the South Atlantic Conference, invites applications for the current position of Assistant Women’s Field Hockey Coach.

• Work with the head coach to support all aspects of an established collegiate Field Hockey program, including recruiting qualified student-athletes.
• Monitor academic progress toward degree.
• Prepare for competition and practice.
• Support individual and program development.
• Maintain facilities and engage in community activity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all rules, guidelines, and principles set forth by the South Atlantic Conference and Belmont Abbey College.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• One year of coaching Field Hockey at a collegiate level is preferred.
• Demonstrate a vision for recruiting student‑athletes aligned with the college’s Catholic and Benedictine mission.
• Yield wholeheartedly to the mission of the College to educate students in the liberal arts and sciences “so that in all things God may be glorified.”
• Consistently demonstrate skills, attitudes, and stable disposition of character to support our Catholic and Benedictine identity while fostering development of mind, body, and spirit.
• Sincere appreciation and acceptance of our Catholic approach to education and understanding of Pope Saint John Paul II’s Ex Corde Ecclesiae.
