• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Massachusetts State Certification in Pre School Special Education.

• Experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs.

• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and special education laws.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Student Age Group:
  Pre-k

• Case Load: 10-15 kids

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for preschool students with special needs.

• Provide differentiated and developmentally appropriate instruction to meet the diverse needs of preschool students with disabilities.

• Work collaboratively with special education staff, general education staff, therapists, and support staff.

• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies.

• Maintain open and regular communication with parents/guardians.

• Implement positive behavior support strategies and collaborate with the behavioral support team to address challenging behaviors.

• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes the participation and engagement of all students.

• Stay current with best practices in special education and attend relevant professional development opportunities.
