Mobile Electrician

Position: Mobile Electrician (Permanent)
Mobile Electrician – Bellshill & Surrounding Areas

We are currently looking for a Mobile Electrician to join our team based from Bellshill, covering the surrounding areas. This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week.

The position offers a salary of £38,000 per annum, along with an excellent benefits package and opportunities for ongoing training and development.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mobile Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites. Your duties will include:

Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical infrastructure and plant in line with site schedules and CAFM systems.

Responding to and resolving reactive maintenance tasks, identifying opportunities for improvement where possible.

Diagnosing and repairing plant faults and defects to ensure equipment remains operational.

Maintaining adequate stock levels of spare parts to support maintenance and reactive works.

Providing parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial works.

Completing and submitting all relevant documentation to the contract administrator in a timely manner.

Preparing Method Statements and Risk Assessments to ensure all work is carried out safely.

Building strong working relationships with team members, subcontractors and client representatives.

Ensuring a safe working environment, including adherence to PPE and company safety procedures.

Keeping accurate plant logs and supervising subcontractor activities when required.

Ensuring compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Using and updating the CAFM system (e.g., Plan On) for PPM schedules and reactive work orders.

Operating within the Permit to Work system in line with technical and SHEQ processes.

Providing engineering support during emergency situations to maintain operational continuity.

Obtaining relevant technical appointments (e.g., LVCP/LVAP/HVAP) where required to issue permits.

Ensuring all electrical work complies with BS7671 regulations.

Participating in the on-call rota (1 in
4).
