Plumber​/Multiskilled Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical / Plumbing) to join our team in Bellshill. This is a key on-site role, where you will ensure all planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive, and breakdown works are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Your expertise in water booster pump maintenance, commercial and industrial plumbing, and mechanical installations will be essential in maintaining and enhancing client assets.

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute all PPM tasks in line with maintenance specifications, accurately logging work progress using PDA and CAFM systems.

* Complete and submit all required paperwork, e-Forms, and supporting documentation promptly.

* Manage reactive maintenance tasks efficiently, reporting plant failures and raising quotations as required.

* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and plumbing systems, including water booster pumps, valves, and large-diameter pipework.

* Conduct Point of Work Risk Assessments and ensure adherence to safe working practices, including PPE use and permit-to-work systems.

* Monitor and supervise subcontractors during site maintenance activities.

* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized plant room, ensuring tools, vehicles, and test equipment are regularly audited.

* Participate in a regional on-call rota for emergency call-outs outside normal working hours.

* Foster positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors while maintaining the professional image of Equans.
