Mechanical Fitter - Permanent
Location: Bellshill
This is a hands-on mechanical fitter role for someone who understands machinery doesn't move itself.
You'll be involved in stripping, relocating, installing, aligning, and recommissioning industrial equipment-often as part of complex machine moves.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Mechanical strip-down and reassembly of industrial machinery
- Supporting machine moving and skating operations
- Precision alignment and fault finding
- Working alongside rigging and lifting teams
This role suits you if:
- You're an experienced Mechanical Fitter from an industrial background
- You have real machine moving and skating experience (mandatory)
- You read drawings
- You care about doing the job right, not just quickly
