HGV Technician - Night Shift (Bellshill)

Up to £23.00 per hour

Hours:

Tuesday - Friday, 20:30 - 19:00 (40 hours per week)

Contract:

Permanent

• Basic Salary:
  Up to £47,840 per year.
• Quarterly Bonus:
  Increased earnings every 3 months!
• Realistic OTE: £53,000 - £58,000+

We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy commercial vehicle depot in Bellshill on a permanent night shift. This condensed 4-night week offers earning a top hourly rate.

You'll benefit from an 8% pension, a company car scheme with a new vehicle every 6 months, a quarterly bonus incentive, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

For the right candidate, they will fund Class 1 licence training, IRTEC accreditation, and Level 3 EV & Hybrid qualifications.

• Interpret instructions from job cards and comply with repair instructions.
• Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information.
• Accurately report and record work done, including any further work required.
• Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition.
• Enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests.

• Proven experience working with HGVs, ideally in a workshop environment.
• A recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of commercial vehicle mechanics.
• Ability to work well as part of a small team and communicate effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.
