Hours:

Rotating shifts, Monday - Friday:
Week 1: 07:00 - 15:30 | Week 2: 12:30 - 21:00
Saturday mornings (1 in
2) 07:00 - 13:00 paid at 1.5x

Contract:

Permanent

Basic Salary:
Circa £41,600 per year (based on 40-hour week).
Overtime Rate:
Saturday mornings paid time-and-a-half (1.5x).
Quarterly Bonus:
Available as part of the package.
Realistic OTE: £46,000 - £49,000+

We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy commercial vehicle depot in Bellshill on a rotating early/late shift pattern with alternate Saturday mornings.

For the right candidate, they will fund Class 1 licence training, IRTEC accreditation, and Level 3 EV & Hybrid qualifications.

• Interpret instructions from job cards and comply with repair instructions.
• Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information.
• Accurately report and record work done, including any further work required.
• Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition.
• Enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests.

• Proven experience working with HGVs, ideally in a workshop environment.
• A recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of commercial vehicle mechanics.
• Ability to work well as part of a small team and communicate effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.
