Multi Utility Construction Coordinator
Purpose of this roleIn conjunction with the MU Team, deal with all customer queries and build out works by others in the region and assist in the new MU Self Delivery Business where required.
YourKey Responsibilities Are
- Provide assistance with post award programme management for all new awards using Microsoft Project and in compliance with company procedures. Program meeting for all new acceptances and provide weekly updates to customers, providing project reviews through the lifecycle of the works, until power on achieved.
- Design Management for all new acceptance’s log track & liaise with customers to obtain development documentation.
- Liaising with the clients to provide site updates.
- Set up initial post award meetings with developers and internal management.
- Weekly programme meeting updates and project reviews for all new awards and existing projects until power on is achieved.
- Liaise with the Finance team to issue the invoice for the VO’s / Advanced Payments and Monthly Invoices where appropriate.
- Preparation of the pricing of contractual variation order’s.
- Managing the developer Variation approvals.
- Liaise with the various Project Managers to assist them in contractual change.
- Work with the Land Rights team to ensure prompt completion of lands transfers and easements.
- Assist the Design Team when required to deal with peaks in workload.
- Liaise with representatives of third-party organisations e.g. incumbent utility operators, Housing Developers etc. as required.
- Produce internal construction packs for GTC Construction to build in accordance with prescribed timescales and Customer’s requirements.
- Issue data and reports in line with business requirements.
- Maintain and improve consistent accuracy of data asset records.
- Provide accurate and quality work.
- Maintain a helpful and informative customer focused work environment across the BUUK group.
- Perform other ad hoc office duties which are classified as non-critical but can be achieved when time permits depending on the other activities, together with any other duties as deemed appropriate by the MU Business Support Manager.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programmes or equivalent.
- Cost of living annual pay review.
- Company pension contributions up to 10% if employees contribute 5%.
- 33 days holiday including bank holidays with the ability to purchase an additional 2 weeks.
