We’re looking for a proactive Plant and Equipment Manager to take ownership of our plant and equipment function, ensuring all assets are tracked, allocated, and off-hired in a timely fashion. This role is central to maintaining operational efficiency, reducing unnecessary costs, and delivering accurate reporting across the business.

What We expect of you:

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations, ensuring plant and equipment are properly tracked, allocated to projects, and off-hired promptly to avoid unnecessary costs.

You’ll be responsible for driving cost control through effective utilisation, supply chain management, and clear, accurate reporting to senior management.

Effective planning is vital. You’ll coordinate against operational work schedules to optimize efficiency, ensure all necessary cost coding and documentation are in place. Collaboration with operational teams will help drive continuous improvement and enhance quality and support robust field team operations.

You’ll maintain operational excellence by conducting inspections, monitoring usage, minimizing waste, and maintaining stock availability. Business travel to our depot locations is required.

What we’re looking for:
  • Strong experience in plant, equipment, or stock management (5+ years preferred).
  • Skilled in cost control, reporting, and system-driven asset management.
  • Proven people management ability.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and plant/stock management systems.
  • Driving Licence essential; IOSH Managing Safely desirable.
