Summary:

As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will support our production teams under the guidance of our Manufacturing Engineers. This hands-on internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work on process improvement initiatives, tooling and fixturing design, quality analysis, and lean manufacturing projects.
** Essential Functions/

Job Responsibilities:

** Tooling & Fixturing Design
** Assist in designing and improving tooling and fixtures to enhance manufacturing efficiency and precision.·
** Process Database Development
** Support the creation and maintenance of process documentation, work instructions, and best practices.·
** Process Improvement & Troubleshooting
** Identify and address production bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and defects.·
** Quality Defect Analysis
** Investigate root causes of quality defects and recommend corrective actions.·
** Lean Manufacturing Initiatives
** Participate in lean events to reduce setup times, optimize workflow, and improve shop floor organization.·
** Tooling & Workstation Organization
** Assist in organizing tooling and workstations to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.·
** Collaboration
* * Work closely with engineers, machinists, and production staff to implement improvements.
** Education and/or

Experience:

*
* · High school diploma or GED, with ongoing studies in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
· Familiarity with AutoCAD, Solid Works, and PLM/PDM systems is preferred

Pay Range:
21.60 - 26.40
