General Summary
The Electrical HTT Technician performs electrical heat treatment, typically at extreme temperatures, to achieve desired material properties such as hardening or softening. This role involves executing heat treatment jobs on various components across industries like refining, petrochemical, power, and construction, handling small to medium electrical projects, and possibly other heat treat methods.
Essential Job Functions
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety standards and practices, and alerting others to potential hazards.Perform assigned duties while adhering to TEAM’s Core Values and 7 Critical Choices.Instruct assistants in performing HTT duties.Set up and complete heat treatment jobs.Conduct job walks and communicate requirements effectively.Interface with clients and co-workers professionally.Ensure timely completion of jobs according to schedule.Instruct Assistant Technicians on equipment setup/tear-down and routine maintenance.Perform calibrations and maintain equipment and facilities.Oversee project execution and daily maintenance tasks.Complete proper documentation and reports of services rendered.Learn and follow heat treat procedures diligently.Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.Valid Driver’s License required.Heat Treat experience preferred.Travel requirements: 25% - 50%.Work Conditions
Work may be indoors or outdoors in plant environments, tolerating climate changes.Interaction with crew, supervisors, and clients.Work around production machinery with high noise levels.Must wear safety equipment as required.Potential travel to multiple sites in a day and out of town.Physical Requirements
Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.Walk, climb, and maneuver in plant environments, including elevated platforms.Effective communication skills.Ability to focus and multitask.Personal mobility for travel and on-site access.This description is intended to outline typical tasks and difficulty levels and does not restrict management from assigning other duties. Anticipated compensation is $28.00-$35.00 hourly plus benefits, with actual pay based on experience, qualifications, and location.
