Retail & Store Manager
Responsibilities:
- Passion for serving people and creating a guest focused work environment.
- 1-2 years of department operations experience or equivalent education to be knowledgeable of the nature of every position within the department.
- Math skills necessary, but not limited to following recipes, completing reports and calculating sales and discounts.
- Ability to work in wet environment in order to clean and sanitize tools, pots/pans and utensils using cleaning chemicals and detergents without allergic reaction.
- Ability to work around food ingredients, produce and spices without allergic reaction.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with guests and crew members in professional and courteous manner. This includes answering telephone calls and using in-store intercom system.
- Must be at least 18 years of age due to equipment use and work environment.
- Current state Food Handler’s Permit may be required.
Work space will be primarily on sales floor with exposure to ice/wet areas as well as refrigerated areas and freezers.
May be required to join a labor union.

Box knife, computer, printer, Telzon, telephone, shopping cart, garbage compactor, bailer, fork lift (with certification), pallet jack, flat bed, hand truck, ladder, calculator, mop, broom, floor squeegee. Cleaning supplies: bleach, hand soap, hand sanitizer, glass and multi-surface cleaner, floor cleaner. Personal Protective Equipment: N/A
The pay range is $26.50 to $29.00 per hour. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).
