Job Title: Leasing Manager

Status: Full Time

Work Location: Onsite, In Person

Compensation: $/hr.

Summary

This position oversees daily property operations, including leasing and maintenance tasks to deliver best in class service and property performance. This position works closely with property owners and upper management to meet property objectives and operating performance. A strong emphasis is placed on property showings, converting leads, and delivering an exceptional leasing experience.
Minimum one year leasing experience required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.

  • Proactively drives core business processes, including leasing, resident relations, marketing, and maintenance coordination.
  • Conducts property tours, follows up with prospects, and works to convert leads into signed leases.
  • Executes sales-oriented action plans to meet occupancy goals.
  • Executes action plans to align property goals with company goals.
  • Exhibits role model behavior in customer service and professionalism.
  • Oversees maintenance of property cleanliness and curb appeal.
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of Fair Housing and Employment laws.
  • Follows all safety procedures, risk management protocols, and property audits.
  • Completes additional tasks or projects as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience:

    Minimum 1 year of property management or related residential leasing experience. Strong preference for candidates with demonstrated success in sales, leasing conversion, and customer service.
  • Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, clients, and the general public.
  • Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
  • Computer Skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
