Position: RT Level II Tech(NESTED

Acuren is currently recruiting for Full time Level II RT Techs to support our operation in Bellingham, Washington. Additional certifications in MT, PT, PMI, or VT are a strong asset. A valid TWIC card is also preferred.

We are currently seeking local candidates based in Bellingham, Washington or the surrounding area, or individuals who are open to relocating. While we welcome applications from all qualified candidates, local availability or a willingness to relocate is preferred due to the nature of this role.

Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance are available to support qualified candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
  • Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
  • Organize and report test results
  • Perform specialized inspections
  • May instruct and supervise others
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Certified Level II RT
  • Additional level II certifications in MT, PT, PMI, or VT are a strong asset.
  • A valid TWIC card is also preferred
  • Valid IRRSP also preferred
  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment
  • Experience in report writing
  • Local to the area or be willing to relocate
