Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology & Vascular Medicine About the Role
Peace Arch Cardiovascular is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner specializing in cardiology and vascular medicine to join our growing team in Bellingham, Washington.
This outpatient-focused role offers the opportunity to work closely with cardiologists and vascular specialists in a collaborative, patient-centered environment dedicated to delivering high-quality cardiovascular care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive cardiovascular and vascular assessments
- Diagnose and manage conditions including:
- c. Coronary artery disease
- d. Peripheral artery disease
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including:
- a. ECGs
- b. Stress testing
- c. Echocardiography
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care
- Educate patients on cardiovascular risk reduction and lifestyle modification
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff in a team-based care model
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Experience or strong interest in cardiology and/or vascular medicine
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
- Collaborative and patient-focused approach
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care
- Salary Range: $140,000-$175,000 (commensurate with experience)
