CNC Machinist

In your role as a machinist at Girodisc, you will have access to all the tools you need to succeed. All design, development and manufacturing are done in-house.

You must demonstrate exceptional follow-through with attention to detail. You must be able to work autonomously with adequate direction, have excellent communication skills and work well with others.

You will demonstrate continuous process improvement and follow current manufacturing practices. A willingness to cross-train, punctual and follow instructions.

Duties would include setting up for a prototype or production run of parts, operating the CNC machines, inspecting, and measuring the machined parts and general maintenance/cleanliness of the machine shop.

Girodisc is currently hiring for all levels of CNC Machinist.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in production machining required or a technical certificate in machining
• Familiar with Haas and Fanuc controls
• Perform visual inspections as well as dimensional inspection of parts to drawing specifications
• Assure adequate deburr / cleanliness of parts
• Clean machines as needed
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet all day
• Other related duties as required / directed

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in production machining required
• Mastercam programming experience highly recommended
• Familiar with Haas and Fanuc controls
• Proficient with set-ups and change overs
• Perform visual inspections as well as dimensional inspection of parts to drawing specifications
• Assure adequate deburr / cleanliness of parts
• Clean machines as needed
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet all day
• Other related duties as required / directed

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in production machining required
• Capable of programming in Mastercam and adjusting past processor as required
• Experience as a lead, managing small cells or teams a plus
• Fluent with Haas and Fanuc controls
• Proficient with set-ups and change overs
• Perform visual inspections as well as dimensional inspection of parts to drawing specifications
• Assure adequate deburr / cleanliness of parts
• Clean machines as needed
• Other related duties as required / directed

• Passion for motorsports
• 5S and/or lean a plus
