Peace Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, Washington is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in a full‑time day shift position.

- Perform all routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring high‑quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.
- Prepare and equip exam rooms, integrate imaging studies, lab results, and patient history to optimize examinations.
- Consult with interpreting or ordering physicians to determine the most appropriate examination.
- Provide patient education before and after exams, and train staff and students when required.
- Apply ALARA principles for radiation safety, assess pregnancy or breastfeeding status, and maintain safety protocols.
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment for imaging acquisition, reconstruction, and quality control.
- Calibrate and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol.
- Maintain accurate records of radioactive materials handling, equipment QC, and radiation monitoring.
- Execute additional patient‑care activities as directed by scope of practice.
- A degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program (or equivalent).
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience; venipuncture competency.
- Knowledge of PACS/RIS.
- Certification by NMTCB or ARRT‑N.
- Washington state Radiologic Technologist licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
