Care Medical Group, established in 1996, is a locally owned and operated medical clinic delivering outstanding medical services to Bellingham, WA, and the neighboring Whatcom County communities. We are a multi-specialty clinic with walk-in care along with patient appointments. Our services include Primary Care, Physical Therapy, Occupational Medicine, as well as on-site x-rays and labs.

Care Medical Group is seeking an energetic, and hardworking Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The PA-C or NP will be involved with the treatment of our Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine Department patients.

• Schedule:
  
  Part-Time, Monday through Saturday with flexible hours
• Provide high-quality patient care with excellent customer service
• Examine, diagnose, and create treatment plans
• Order labs, imaging, and other diagnostic testing and interpret results
• Perform physical examinations including DOT physicals and other employment-specific physicals through our Occupational Medicine Department
• Document thoroughly in EMR with exceptional attention to detail
• Collaborate and consult with MD when necessary
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Adapt easily to new processes and procedures
• Communicate effectively with the medical team and with patients
• Efficiently manage a small medical team and delegate/prioritize tasks

  Education:
  
  Physician Assistant, Certified (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program
• Required Licensure:
  Current Washington State PA-C or NP license
• Physical Requirements:
  
  This position requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hand-to-finger coordination, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and listen attentively. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Immunization Requirements:
  Influenza, Hep B, Tdap, MMR, varicella or a positive titer test, PPD and any additional immunizations determined necessary for the protection of staff and patients.
