The Patient Relations Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. This position is responsible for scheduling appointments, conducting outbound patient communications, and ensuring accurate documentation to support quality care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, including Open House events, with accuracy and attention to detail
- Conduct a high volume of outbound calls, emails, and other patient communications
- Provide clear and professional information to patients regarding services and appointments
- Document detailed and accurate notes from patient interactions to support continuity of care
- Follow established communication scripts while personalizing conversations based on patient needs
- Build and maintain positive patient relationships through exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure patient needs and expectations are met
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping others
- Prior experience in patient relations, customer service, call center, or a similar role preferred
- Accuracy and consistency in scheduling and documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
