General Description of WorkWCC invites applications for a part‑time, Adjunct Faculty, Engineering Instructor position to teach the Engineering Spring Quarter 2026. Additional opportunities may become available in 2026‑2027.
Minimum Qualifications- A master’s degree in engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience and/or preparation for teaching calculus‑based Electric Circuits (analog) with a laboratory component.
- Commitment to excellence and quality in learner‑centered instruction.
- Experience with a learning management system.
- Active contribution to a work and learning environment that embraces diversity and uses diverse perspectives to enhance the attainment of the College’s mission and vision.
- Willingness to meet with current engineering faculty to discuss class materials and resources, lab equipment, and/or teaching strategies.
- $9,886.00 per class for the Spring Quarter 2026.
- Accrues a percentage of 7 hours (equal to the percentage of workload) per month of sick leave. (e.g., 50% quarterly employment contract x 7 hrs for full‑time = 3.5 hrs per month for that quarter.)
- Spring Quarter 2026. April 7th, 2026 is the first day of the quarter.
