Instructor, Early Childhood, Elementary, and Multilingual Education
Western Washington University is seeking an experienced educator to join the Department of Early Childhood, Elementary, and Multilingual Education. Candidates will contribute to the department’s mission of fostering inclusive learning environments and maintaining high teaching standards.
Position Responsibilities- Teach K‑12 level courses with active student engagement.
- Develop and deliver curriculum that meets university standards.
- Provide timely feedback and maintain regular office hours.
- Collect and submit course evaluations for annual review.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to departmental initiatives.
- MA in target endorsement or related field.
- Accomplished K‑12 teaching record.
- Demonstrated potential for successful teaching at the university level.
- Commitment to equitable and inclusive learning environments.
- PhD in target endorsement or related field.
- Demonstrated successful university‑level teaching experience.
All employees must comply with our immunization policies, including proof of measles immunity within 60 days of hire. Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
